EYE Lighting International has introduced a new LED on-board High Speed Photography Lighting System.

This new proprietary LED system is designed specifically to solve the problem of getting high intensity light into difficult to reach areas. EYE Lighting / Iwasaki employed its years of global crash test and lighting system application experience to develop a system designed to survive up to 100G shock while providing outstanding illumination. Ideal for either vehicle on-board or servo sled applications, it can be powered by either 12V or 24V DC.

New Fastest Acceleration UV Weathering/Durability Chamber:

EYE Lighting has introduced a new UV weathering/durability chamber offering the fastest test acceleration on the available. This chamber can provide correlated outdoor exposure simulation of three (3) years in just 216 hours!

The system uses a proprietary EYE Lighting / Iwasaki metal halide based UV lamp and filter assembly to deliver correlated acceleration factors up to 100 times natural solar UV irradiation. The system is fully programmable including temperature, humidity, rainfall, UV power, and custom cycle setup. A built in datalogger offers data storage and simple transfer to common programs such as MS-Excel.

EYE Lighting SUV Chamber Accelerates New Product Development:

Northeast Ohio is home to the first EYE Lighting Super Acceleration UV Weathering Chamber located in an independent lab in the United States. Part of the Richard Desich SMART Commercialization Center for Microsystems, the SUV Chamber is a unique resource that provides important UV weathering data to industries such as paints, materials, and photovoltaics. The SMART Center, located on the campus of Lorain County Community College. With open-access for all users on a fee-per-use basis, the SMART Center fills a much needed gap in the commercialization continuum. From growing industries such as PV, all the way to established materials and paint companies, the SUV chamber is an indispensable tool to shorten product development, and quicken the path to market.

New Economical Bench-top Simulation System:

EYE Lighting has introduced a new, economical, bench-top simulation system developed to satisfy customer requirements for educational and small lab applications. Designed to deliver excellent performance and application flexibility, the system uses four EYE Lighting / Iwasaki continuous output Solarlux™ lamps that exceed the ASTM/IEC class B spectrum compliance standard. Power is supplied by EYE Lighting / Iwasaki electronic ballasts that meet the ASTM/IEC class A temporal stability standard.

New XLP Family of High-Throughput PV Module Long Pulse Simulation Systems:

Developed to meet evolving customer requirements, these high-throughput systems are designed for testing both crystalline and thin-film PV modules. As more “thin-film” PV products are introduced, the requirement for high quality long pulse simulation systems will dramatically increase. The programmable pulse duration and acquisition delay overcome the inherent problem some thin-film PV materials experience when illuminated with short pulses. Three different size systems are offered to provide the most efficient solution in manufacturing facilities where space is a premium.
